More than 1,260 people applied to be registered as homeless in Brighton this year, nearly 150 more than 2012. With some being as young as 16 and others nearing 90, homelessness in Brighton has become a worrying issue, despite the Council introducing a very promising Brighton and Hove Homelessness Strategy nearly 5 years ago.
